Balekananda Trust is a duly Registered Trust under the Indian Trusts Act 1882 having its Head Office at Lakhimi Path, Beltola, Guwahati, Assam and Farm at Kamalajari Nonke, P.O Sonapur, Dist. Kamrup (M), PIN 782402. The Trust is ISO 22000:2018 certified. 

The main objectives of the Trust are as under: 

• To promote an integrated agricultural farming system with Livestock, Fishery, Bee Keeping, Tea Plantation, Mushroom Growing, Sericulture, Weaving etc. by wellorganized recycling of farm and animal wastes with modern agricultural practice to attain sustainable resource management.
• To carry on the business of farming, agriculture, horticulture, livestock and livestock products, animal husbandry, fodder production, agro forestry, animal farm management, wildlife, animal health, animal production, production and processing, dairying, integrated rural development, cold chains, fisheries and horticulture.
• To carry on the business and setting up of Dairy Farms, Milk Processing Plants, Food Processing Plants, Cold Storage Plants, Research laboratories, Packing units, Bottling Plants and to manufacture and deal in all kinds and varieties of foods for human or animal consumption as well as to and to extract by-products, derivatives of every kind and description of animal.
• To plant, grow, cultivate, produce, agricultural, plantation, horticultural crops, medicinal and aromatic plants as well as grow, manufacture, process, market, trade, import, export, sell agro/agri/food products including but not limited to spices, oil seeds, grains, vegetables, herbs, pickles and other items derived from agricultural, farming or relevant activities including all kinds of forest crops, natural products agricultural, plantation and horticultural crops, medicinal and aromatic plants such as sandalwood, agarwood etc.
• To create Training & Production Centre for value added processing of agri-horti produces.
• To do all and any work incidental and related to agri/horti/forestry/ spices segment.
• To construct a “NAMGHAR” for spiritual reform, upliftment as well for spreading and popularizing amongst workers, visitors and the local indigenous people the ideology and teachings of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva (1449-1568) a saintscholar, social-religious reformer, a colossal figure of Assam and his multi-faceted contribution in the field of culture, literature and religion for mankind
